The Formation and Development Journey of Phan Tan Company
In 1991, the predecessor of Phan Tan Mechanical Workshop was established in Mỹ Quí Commune, Tháp Mười District, Đồng Tháp Province, founded by Mr. Phan Tấn Bện. In its early stage, the workshop mainly focused on mechanical fabrication and manufacturing water pumps.

Introduction of Rice Thresher Production
From 1995, the workshop began manufacturing rice threshers, gradually expanding its product portfolio to serve agricultural harvesting needs.

Agricultural Dryer Production
In 2000, the company developed agricultural crop drying fans, contributing to improvements in post-harvest processing and enhancing the quality of agricultural products.

Workshop Expansion & Product Diversification
The workshop was expanded to over 1,000 m², and row-type rice harvesters and combined rice harvesting machines were put into production. Due to limited space, the facility continued to expand its production scale.

New My Dong Factory & Regional Featured Products
A new factory was built in My Dong Commune, Thap Muoi District, Dong Thap Province, with a total area of over 12,000 m². The facility produced combine harvesters and field agricultural transport vehicles. The products were certified by the Department of Local Industry – Ministry of Industry and Trade as Outstanding Rural Industrial Products of the Mekong Delta region.

Official Establishment of Phan Tan Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd.
Phan Tan Mechanical Workshop was transformed into Phan Tan Agricultural Mechanical One Member Limited Liability Company (abbreviated as Phan Tan Company); Mr. Phan Tấn Bện was appointed as Director; with >100 employees and management staff. In the same year, the company manufactured the “2-in-1” Corn and Rice Harvesting Machine, which won Second Prize at the 13th National Technical Innovation Contest (2014–2015). In 2016, the product was included in the Vietnam Golden Book of Innovation and was certified by the Department of Local Industry as a Typical Rural Industrial Product of the Southern Region.

Straw baler & Utility solution patent
Continued production of the Straw Baler. The product was granted Utility Solution Patent No. 1494 by the Intellectual Property Office – Ministry of Science & Technology (patent holder: Mr. Phan Tấn Bện; application No. 2-2015-00414) under Decision No. 10490/QD-SHTT (February 21, 2017). The product won Third Prize at the 14th National Technical Innovation Contest (2016–2017) and was recognized as a National Typical Rural Industrial Product in 2017 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

To date, Phan Tan Company continues to develop its agricultural mechanical production lines, promotes digital transformation, raises quality and safety standards, expands cooperation, and diversifies its product portfolio such as organic fertilizer mixing machines, crawler tractors, and other auxiliary machinery, aligned with the needs of modern agricultural mechanization.
